In 1995 Mark undertook a 5 year training in Integrative Psychotherapy at the Minster Centre in London. He graduated with a Masters of Arts from Middlesex University and Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy from the Minster Centre. He worked as a psychotherapist in private practice in Oxford and London for 10 years. He was also a lecturer for 5 years at The Minster Centre on the course he graduated from.
He has further experience in working with issues involving bereavement and adoption. He has a particular interest in the impact on our psychological development of pre-natal and birth experiences, the effect on and reflections in the body of our emotional experiences throughout childhood and the personal, inter-personal and social/political dynamics of sexuality and group-work. In 2008 Mark established and continued to manage the Oxford Men's Counselling Centre supervising counsellors working there until he left Oxford at the end of 2011.
